Updated every Sunday, Somethingspace.com is part online magazine, part Web comics publisher and part dramatic character flaw. Given our overly self-referential style, we've published a few editorials that might give you some insight into the actual, honest motivation behind the creation, and ongoing development, of the site.
Welcome to Somethingspace
The Somethingspace Style Guide
Along with each week's new material, the site contains an archive of everything we've ever published, organized into sections designed to make your experience that much easier to handle.
Editorials
Every so often the editors here at Somethingspace feel they have something to say that doesn't quite fit the format of any of the site's other departments. This is where it usually goes. Somethingspace editorials are the most direct means for communication between the site's editors and its readers.
Features
A lot of the work on Somethingspace goes into the features. Added to each week, our features section contains several serialized Web comics, a couple of one-shot comics and an assortment of other oddities, all of which contain some kind of more involved visual element.
Columns
Our columns aren't columns in the traditional sense. Or in any sense at all, really. Sometimes they contain opinion or advice, and sometimes they're reports based on real facts or events, but most often they're short fiction in a not-quite-prose style.
Mix Tapes
Updated each week, or at least as often as we possibly can, our Mix Tapes section contains instructional guides on how to create and enjoy our own themed mix tapes. Delivered in a recipe format, each mix tape is based entirely around a particular premise, either simple or complicated.
Links
Links. It's pretty straightforward, isn't it? This is where, each and every week, we give you the quick tour of the Web, sending you off in the direction of some of the funniest, smartest, craziest, most curious or most useful sites out there.
Most Popular
This particular section was created in a semi-desperate effort to convince new visitors to the site that there is, in fact, something worth reading around here. It includes links to some of the most popular content from our previous issues.
