Welcome to Somethingspace

At the risk of sounding pretentious, Somethingspace, above all, is a concept. Months in the making, it was designed from the start to be both a destination, and an inspiration for our creative energy.

In an effort to grow up and lead normal lives, you tend to resign yourself to the understanding that certain of your creative impulses will go unfulfilled. This could be bad, we figured. Possibly unhealthy.

We put Somethingspace together as a creative arena. A place where we could explore and expend that impulse while giving it some purpose in the possibility, however unlikely, that it might just entertain somebody, somewhere, sometime.

We’re trying to avoid limiting ourselves, and the excellent group of people we hope will be contributing. Most often, we’ve found, our work and our ideas are taking the form of fiction, both written and as comics. So consider it a magazine, or a Web comics press.

Maybe it’ll be good, sometimes. We certainly hope so. And we’re probably going to keep making it for a while.

And maybe you’ll like it. And you’ll come back. And you’ll get the newsletter. And you’ll send it to your friends. That would kick ass. We really like you.
