This Day In Rock & Roll History

linked by Liam Eagle

It just so happens that February 3, 1959 was the actual "day the music died." Buddy Holly, Ritchie Valens and the Big Bopper were all killed when their plan crashed 44 years ago today. It was also the day that Dave Davies from the Kinks was born.

I discovered all this thanks to Arrow 93, a Los Angeles radio station with an awesome feature to its Web site.
