Maybe you know about Fat Possum Records. I mean, probably you know about it. The untrained, unpolished, down-home rumblings of this anything-but-purist Mississipi blues label has lately become New Yorker territory. But cool-art-crowd acceptance hasn't made Fat Possum any less honest, or its stable of musicians any less outrageous. From the simply out-there Bob Log III to the downright psychotic T-Model Ford, kick-ass music is just kick-ass music. And besides, I like the New Yorker.
