Mad Magazine Parodies the Onion

Who would have thought that a parody by Mad Magazine (not usually very funny) of the Onion (usually very funny) would be very funny? Certainly not me. Which makes it all the more interesting that the parody is, in fact, very funny (though remarkably similar, I understand, to an earlier effort by someone else). I guess if somebody was going to parody the Onion, Mad Magazine has the credibility, or rather, what passes for credibility in whatever their world is called.

Oh yeah. It's called "the Bunion." Isn't that great?
