My Childhood Illusions Shattered
linked by Justin Anderson
I’m a child of the ‘80s. One of my favourite shows growing up was "Alf." I remember being in the second grade or so and every Tuesday (it was on on Mondays, as I recall) talking about last night’s episode with my best friend Clint Adams. Much of "Alf"’s comedic conflict came from the tense relationship between the fun-loving alien puppet and the straight-laced father of the house, Willie Tanner (played by Max Wright). Man, I loved that show. So imagine my shock when I came across these photos of Max Wright on the ‘net, apparently a scan job from a tabloid of some sort.
I’ll never look at "Alf" the same again
