Scott McCloud, author of the comics manuals Understanding Comics and Reinventing Comics, believes that the Internet is the future of the medium. Whether or not you agree, he’s got a very cool website that hosts his webcomic experiments. My favourite is "The Daily Improv": McCloud spends an hour every morning improvising a comic, and strings them together to form a story, and publishes the updates daily.
